David P. Biggy spoke out for all the people of Barnegat again with another outstanding article on the front page of the Beacon's Sports page on March 29. Mr. Biggy's last two columns are a must read for anyone who cares for our town. When will the people say no to partisan politics and demand accountability from our elected officials regardless of their party affiliation. Mr. Biggy tells it like it is again, but who will listen?
DowntownBarnegat.com has reached out to mayor Cirulli and asked him to communicate with us and our many readers regarding the quality of life issues that are discussed on this site. The ball is now in the mayor's court, and we have faith in him that he will not only discuss these issues but will put into effect a plan to address them.
In the future we look forward to reading Mr. Biggy's column as he describes the accomplisments of our township when it comes to recreation, and we look forward to reporting on this also. This is the type of reporting that should be in our newspaper every week until the people of Barnegat begin to actually see an improvement. All the people have to do is open their eyes and look at the good, fair reporting in the paper and not public relations spin. Keep up the good work, Mr. Biggy, Barnegat should be proud of you.
